We continue to enhance and improve the design of WINBID2000 system.  Here are the details of what the recent new versions have added, plus some major new functions and enhancements that are coming soon (of course there is also continual fixing of any bugs or issues and enhancements to the underlying processes that you do not see directly, resulting in an ever more solid and reliable system).

New Office 2003 and 2007 Versions

 We are in the process of upgrading the underlying database to ACCESS 2003/2007, and adding new features that utilize the new functions built into the newer ACCESS software.

New Build-Bid Function

Our new Build-Bid function lets you click and select as many Items / Activities / Details as desired from any existing Bid, then batch-adjust those before they are copied into the new Bid.  Build-Bid shows you the entire source bid on one screen, making it very easy to select precisely the parts you need for your new bid, all at once.  You can select any whole Phase, or any set of Items / Activities / Details -- just click on the ones you want, and if needed, click on any selected part to unselect it.

This second Build-Bid screen shows you all you have selected from the source bid, and lets you specify where in your bid to put these items.  You can specify a whole new Phase, or select an existing Item to follow.  Also on this screen you can adjust the incoming quantities and/or costs -- all on one screen.  And if desired, it will cascade any change to all the subordinate details using that change-ratio (e.g. if you increase an Activity cost by 10%, it will increase all the Details of that Activity by 10%).
